    Horizon Lab is excited to start the development of their Feed and Forage testing. To begin, services offered will be associated with nutritional testing and trace minerals with toxin testing scan to follow.

    Real Estate Drinking Water
    Are you a real estate agent representing an interested client? Horizon Lab can help you out. Submit a water sample with a sample submission form unique for you. Refer to the “Services” section of our website and look for the Real Estate form. Please note, your client can only participate in the water subsidy program if they meet all of the requirements and the appropriate sample submission form is submitted.

  • General Sample Submission Process
    Wondering how to submit a sample?

    • First, determine which sample package you require by referencing our packages in the Services section.
    • Then, determine which sample container (or containers) you require and obtain them.
    • Choose the appropriate sample submission form located in the Services section. It is important to read all of the instructions on this form; they are critical!
    • Deliver your sample within the timeline requirements either by dropping the sample off at Horizon Lab Ltd or via an appropriate courier.
      NOTE: DO NOT USE any Canada Post service under any circumstance for these time sensitive samples (including expedited options). DO NOT USE any Canada Post service.
    • Horizon Lab Ltd has established several courier partnerships around the province. Call Horizon Lab Ltd for potential courier options in your region. Be sure your delivery option will deliver your sample directly to Horizon Lab Ltd within the timeline requirements.

  • Yes, be sure to know which sample container you require for the testing desired. There are different containers for different testing, and it’s critical that you have the correct ones. For sample container and other testing requirements, go to the Services tab on Horizon Lab’s website

  • First, be sure to know which sample container you require for the testing desired. There are different containers for different testing packages, and it’s critical that you have the correct ones. Of course, you can pickup any samples containers right here at Horizon Lab. Horizon Lab has provided sample containers to a variety of locations throughout the province of Manitoba. These locations include Watershed District Offices, Rural Municipal Offices, Town Offices, Agricultural Offices, and many more.

  • Typically, the timeline from sampling until the sample is received in the lab is 24 hours. For timelines and other sampling-related requirements, be sure to read the instructions provided on the back of Sample Submission forms carefully.

  • Horizon Lab will email all reports to customers. Be sure to write email addresses very clearly. Bacteria reports will be issued in less than 7 days (typically, even quicker) and chemistry reports within 14 days (or sooner). For some select test packages, Horizon Lab offers an expedited or “rush” service for a small fee.
